Anybody know what the little red and yellow hand icon during review on a Kodak C743 digital camera means?

I have looked on the Kodak site and through the manual and can not find an explination for these 2 icons anywhere.
I just got it for Xmas & have only taken 10 pics. I have had no issues with it and love it just want to know what these mean so I can be a more proficient photographer.

Mid Ohio Raceway GTR2 Simulation


Driving on Mid Ohio Raceway with my Logitech G25 wheel and new Samsung HDTV. Video begins in the pit area. A warm up lap done out of the pits, and then a more intense lap in the second half. clearer video of how awesome the pal nes and snes games looks on my 49cm samsung hdtv, i had recorded those console games on dvd using a pseudo up/down scaler aka pc to tv adapter. there,s no pixelation or straps on a hdtv screen. just fantastic!!!!!!! however the images could look a bit noisy and blurry, but you can try improve the quality,by turning down the brichtness and a bit the contrast & activate the noise filter.

Review on the Cyber-Shot DSC-TX5 Digital Camera? (Waterproof)?

I am looking into getting a new camera.
I came across the Cyber-Shot DSC-TX5 which is a new digital camera made by Sony.
The reviews on the website seem to all rave about the product until it comes to the battery life. They pretty much ALL say that the battery life sucks. This is not only on this particular camera’s review but most of the other camera reviews made by Sony.
Can you let me know what you think about the camera if you have it? About how many pictures are you able to take before the camera needs to be re-charged?

I am open to suggestions if you have a camera that you love.
My camera that I have right now is a Casio Exilm and while I have really loved the quality of the camera the exterior has cracks. I have decided that while I really liked the camera itself there is no point in spending money for a camera tha cracks.
I am not a picky person, but when it comes to spending money I feel like I should get everything that I want.
It is important to me that my digital camera is able to film videos along with taking still pictures. I also would like it to be waterproof but it doesn’t have to be.
