Digital camera question… how do I eliminate the date?

I have an Optimus digital camera. When I review photos, the date is not visible. Yet, when I print photos, the date is printed at the bottom. How do I eliminate the date from printing on my photos?
I have checked the manual and there is nothing to resolve this. The only thing I can do is change the date.
Please help.
There is no option on the camera for settings.

  1. Does the date appear on the photos when you look at them on your computer? If so, then it’s a setting on your camera. If the date doesn’t appear when you look at them on your computer then it’s a setting in whatever program you use to print them. Or if you use a photo store they’re putting them on – ask them not to.

  2. i dont think u can but when u put them on ur computer u can edit them and crop the picure wich is where u cut out parts of the pic that u dont want in it and u can just cut it out, but if by cutting it out u remove a good part of ur pic u could just look on ur camera’s settings and uncheck (date-time) well on mine u can change it but on some cameras u cant so it depends on ur camera.
